Padded jackets needn’t be bulky! The Desigual Padded Estocolmo Jacket is proof of this. It has an elasticated belt which brings it in neatly around the waist if that is the look you are looking for. It has an interesting double layer on the bodice with collars and epaulettes and cuff straps (giving it a touch of military chic). This contrasts against the shine of the padded fabric. The coat has a high neck and a two-way zip and popper fastening.
